They knew me. Not a single soul would've missed out on me. They all could spell my name backwards. I probably owned everything. Everything that I set my eyes on became my property in an instance. From the table that everyone wanted as their own to the cabin right down to the basketball court. Every fight that happens in school, I'd be questioned immediately. All the discipline masters that came and went knew my name by heart. I was the most powerful of em' all. Everyone knew messing with me will only end up as their loss. Why should I care? Afterall I was the biggest of fucks. Oldest, touted to be most matured or even more responsible than any others. Wasn't exactly true. I questioned each and everyone that I felt like questioning. No one could stop me. I was always feared. Sad to say, was for the wrong reasons. I set the rules. I broke em'. Though something not very proud to be of, I still miss those days.
The usual outcast- Me. While the rest of my clique had a very good reputation, I was the only odd one out. While they made up the smarter batch of my cohort, I was way beyond. The popular bad boy. While my frenz held their books, I held the record for the most canned boy. While they carried bags with books in their hand, I carried chains to school. While others were busy studying during the free times they got, I'd be at the basketball court playing soccer. There wasn't much necessity to search for praba. Instinct will tell em' I'd be anywhere you can see a soccer ball. The only classes I was regular at were detention classes. There were no cases that have not been filed up against me. You name it, I'll have it. From fighting to defiance to vulgarities till rioting. I did em' all. Some so severe that MOE had to come into the picture. The umpteen of times policemen had to visit my school. They were sick and tired of my face. My parents stepped into the office more times than the cleaner himself would have.
I reminisce the days when I used to cut the queue for food, raise hell in every single concert that I was at, put on fuck everyone who stood in my way even if it included teachers, sabotaging everyone whom I thought deserved it, ragging all the freshies, clearing the basketball court if there were others playing in it, making others run errands for me. I sympathize for those argument or fights that I had with the basketball coach, office staff, cleaning staff, canteen staff, discipline masters, HODs, teachers and even the principals. I appreciate all those who tolerated me, helped me in one way or another or loved me like I was the big brother. I thank all those who made this memory sweet like it could be no better. I apologise if you were one of those affected by me.
